I am a Certified Trauma-Informed/Sensitive Yoga Teacher with extensive experience in teaching group and private classes tailored for clients needing this specific service. In addition, as a Certified Level 1 NAHA Aromatherapist, I am also certified in Trauma-Informed Aromatherapy. My holistic services are designed for trauma survivors and individuals referred by qualified mental health professionals who are seeking support for their mental wellness.

For Mental Health Professionals

If you work with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, stress, or trauma, integrating therapeutic yoga into their treatment plan can be profoundly beneficial. My approach emphasizes the connection between body and mind, providing tools to help clients manage and alleviate their symptoms.

  • Depression: Therapeutic yoga can enhance mood and promote a sense of well-being. I offer techniques that encourage mindfulness, improve energy levels, and support a positive outlook.

  • Anxiety: Yoga practices that focus on breath control, grounding techniques, and gentle movement can help reduce anxiety levels, offering clients a sense of control and calm.

For Group Therapy Sessions

Group yoga sessions can be an excellent addition to your therapy practice. I create a supportive and inclusive environment where clients can experience the benefits of yoga in a community setting, enhancing their social connections and emotional well-being.

For Workshops and Retreats

I can design and facilitate online workshops and retreats focused on therapeutic yoga for mental health. These events can be customized to address specific topics such as stress management, coping with anxiety, or healing from trauma.


Integrative Wellness Partnerships

As the mental health community increasingly recognizes the value of complimentary wellness practices like yoga and aromatherapy, I am committed to expanding my offerings in this area. I have collaborated with various private mental health organizations, not for profits, and professionals to support clients' mental and emotional health. Currently, I provide Yin and Restorative Yoga for Cancer patients, those in recovery and their caregivers through the non-profit Hope Connections in Bethesda, Maryland.  In addition, I am partnering with Vitality Health and Wellness Center in Largo, Maryland to provide mental wellness focused yoga practices for their clientele. At this time, I am open to discuss other partnerships and collaborations with heart centered mental wellness groups.
