Day 1: October 8 - Dr. Latoya Asher
A Holistic Health Coaching Perspective on Menopause.
Hormonal Education: Brief Overview of the hormonal system so that we can better understand the physical signs of menopause that may be affecting your physical and emotional health helping women to achieve better self-awareness and make healthier lifestyle choices.
Explore menopause through a holistic health coach perspective by learning about lifestyle changes and evidence-backed natural solutions that may help women who are starting to experience menopausal changes.
We understand that you are the expert of your body and as a health and wellness partner we will offer strategies to help you discover a wellness routine that works for you and empowers you during this natural journey.
Navigate nutrition and dietary choices, understand why some foods are better choices and make you feel better than others. If weight gain is a problem, discuss strategies for what happens in life overall that might be contributing towards eating comfort food.
Day 2: October 21st - Sherry Steine

Yoga & Ayurvedic Perspective
Particpants will be provided an overview of the ancient holistic healing system of Ayurveda from the East Indian culture, which emphasizes the balance of mind, body, and spirt to achieve overall well-being.
Within the Ayurvedic system, each individual has a unique combination of three doshas, known as their Prakriti. We will discuss how to identify your Pratkriti so it can help you identify your natural imbalances to personalize your self-care practice.
We will experience yoga postures that are grounding, gentle, and calming including standing poses, forward bends and hip openers. This yoga session will help increase circulation, release tension, and promote relaxation.
In this session we will also apply pranayama (breath control) techniques, such as deep abominal breathying and Nadi Shodhana (alternate nostril breathing), to calm the mind and balance the nervous system.
Participants will engage in the transformative Ayurvedic self-massage ritual known as Abhyanga. This practice fosters grounding, self-love, skin toning, and nourishment while, cultivating a balanced mood and a restful sleep.
Day 3: - November 4th - Sherry Steine

We begin this workshop by exploring the power of aromatherapy and its specific benefits for menopause. During this segment, we will introduce essential oils know for their effectiveness in aleviating menopausal symptoms.
We will engage in a restorative yoga class which will include long held yoga poses carefully chosen to address menopausal challenges. These poses will help calm the nervous system, reduce stress, and promote better sleep. Participants will experience a sense of ease and comfort in these nurturing postures.
Participants will be lead into a meditation session that focuses on mindfulness, breath awareness, and cultivating a positive mindset. Meditation can help reduce anxiety, improve mental clarity and create a sense of inner peace and acceptance during this transformative life change.
As we conclude the class, participants will be guided through a deep relaxation session to integrate the benefits of aromatherapy, restorative yoga, and meditation. This final relaxation will allow the body and mind to fully absorb the healing effects of the practice, leaving participants feeling rejuvenated and balanced.
